Terms of Service

The terms governing access to and use of the NeutraLedger platform, including acceptable use, data handling, liability, and the regulatory framing that applies to reconciliation outputs.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using NeutraLedger (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Platform on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these terms.

2. Nature of the Service

NeutraLedger provides deterministic, explainable reconciliation and analytics over financial data that you supply. The Platform produces reconciliation results, exception analysis, and audit artifacts as decision-support outputs. They do not constitute accounting, audit, tax, or legal advice, and they do not replace your organization's own internal controls, sign-offs, or statutory audit obligations.

3. Acceptable Use

4. Regulatory & Compliance Framing

You remain the data controller for all financial records you submit and are responsible for ensuring your use of the Platform complies with the laws and regulations applicable to you — which may include financial-reporting standards, anti-money-laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) obligations, payment-industry requirements (such as PCI-DSS where card data is involved), data-protection laws (such as the GDPR or India's DPDP Act), and your sector's record-retention rules. NeutraLedger is a processing tool that supports these obligations; it does not assume them on your behalf.

5. Data Handling

Data you upload is processed transiently to perform reconciliation. The Platform does not operate a persistent customer database; uploaded datasets are held in temporary, in-session storage and are cleared when the session ends or the page is refreshed. See the Privacy Policy for full detail.

6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. You are responsible for validating outputs before relying on them for financial, regulatory, or operational decisions. To the fullest extent permitted by law, NeutraLedger shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
